The company is currently developing its composites distribution business in the UK. As a result of this and continued expansion in the overall business, Tricel is currently recruiting for the following senior site position based in Leeds;

Responsibilities 

The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for the following:

• Oversight of all of the day to day site activities
• Management of the accounting function, along with the company accounting staff.
• Preparation and reporting of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of various group entities.
• Input into the year end audit process and liaise with the company auditors.
• Complete all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies.
• Monitoring gross margins/contributions with focus on optimising sales mix.
• Monitor working capital management, with particular focus on inventory, credit management, and cashflow.
• Generate the necessary financial information that will highlight profit potential and/or inefficiencies.
• Focus on cost control and lean principles with target of improving site efficiency
• Support the business in relation to general development or specific issues.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
• Coordinate the development of the systems to support business growth.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as they arise.

Candidate Experience and Profile

• Qualified Accountant
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, along with the ability to review and submit monthly management accounts
• Commercially focused with a strong disciplined professional approach.
• Compliance and controls orientated
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills is a requirement.
• Previous people management experience is a requirement
• Excellent IT skills.
